Hello, I’m Heather Valentine
I’m the creative mind behind the website and patterns, The Sewing Loft. I love inspiring more than five million quilters a year to make their lives more colorful with easy-to-make patterns, quilting tips, and simple DIY projects.
My goal as a pattern designer is to help shop owners get more done, in less time while engaging with their clients for bottom-line profitability. Many of my patterns are easy to kit and even teach in a classroom setting.
I’ve always been captivated by the creative freedom of working with scraps. Yet, I know firsthand the struggle of finding that perfect hue to complement a cherished print in your stash. That’s why I’m excited to introduce my fabric collection, Color Club with Windham. Featuring 30 vibrant colors in 6 tonal prints. Each design offers a unique visual interest while seamlessly blending into a solid backdrop from afar. This collection serves as a stunning foundation for all your quilting needs, ensuring every project is infused with beauty and harmony.
