I don’t know what it is but there is something about fabric that gets me excited. Maybe it’s the texture, vivid colors or the endless possibilities that swirl through my mind but it always seems to make me smile. Then when I see a friends name on the selvage…. LOVE!! (Enter enter the Dainty Darling fabric collection. )
So, when my friend Lindsay Wilkes from The Cottage Mama told me about her brand new Dainty Darling fabric line with Riley Blake, I knew I wanted to get my hands on it.
The prints are so full of cheer and I love the colors. I mean come on, what’s not to love… turquoise and reds are fantastic together.
Since the collection offers a wide assortment of florals and geometric prints I thought it would be fun to test out my new Breeze By pattern. It is one of those easy to make designs that can be switched up so many different ways.
From the very first slice I knew it was going to be perfect! The blocks came together so quick that I could hardly wait to finish it up.
Originally I planned on using a companion print for the quilt back but now that the top is all set, I’m feeling the need to use every last scrap and keep the back extra cheerful.
