January is the perfect time to take a minute, reflect on our accomplishments from the past year and start planning our quilt projects for the year ahead. So, I thought I would start by sharing some of my exciting plans for 2025. Whether you’re tackling your UFO pile or slicing into new projects, I hope this post inspires you to get your studio Sew Organized, keep stitching, and dream big!
Flimsies Be Gone: Tackling My WIP Pile
First things first: I’m thrilled to share that I wrapped up a few more quilt projects from 2024! It feels so rewarding to see those long-forgotten flimsies transformed into beautiful, finished quilts. My mission to conquer my WIP pile is far from over, but progress is progress. I’ll continue sending out quilts from the stack to be quilted, with the hope that by the end of the year, my pile will finally be under control. Fingers crossed!
The Quilt Pattern Magazine: Jan/Feb Issue is Live
Another highlight from this month is the release of the January/February issue of The Quilt Pattern Magazine (TQPM). This issue is packed with inspiration, including six stunning quilt patterns that are perfect for using up your leftover scraps. You’ll also find creative fabric storage solutions, a beautiful BOM sampler, and so much more. I have put so much love into this project and with each issue release, I am even more excited for this new adventure in publishing.
So, if you haven’t already, be sure to check it out and let me know which project you’re most excited to try!
The Quilt Pattern Magazine is available in both a yearly subscription an indivdual issues. You can find all the details here.
