This month’s color challenge invites you to step into a forest and stitch with the hues that feel like crisp air, soft mossy rocks, and the strength of evergreens. November is often overlooked in the rush toward holiday sewing, but it has its own magic. The forest doesn’t shout; it whispers. It offers a palette that feels both restorative and powerful. Pine Forest captures that mood perfectly.

What is the Pine Forest Challenge?
It’s a month-long invitation to dive into your stash and build a woodland story. Whether you’re stitching a quilt block, a table runner, minimalist home decor, or a heartfelt gift, the only rule is pine green plays a starring role.

Why pine green for November?
November is a month of transition, in weather, in activities, and in schedules. Evergreen trees are still constant. They stay vibrant when everything else fades. This challenge celebrates the beauty found through a walk in the woods. It’s also a gorgeous way to ease into winter palettes without diving straight into icy blues or holiday reds. Pine green bridges the seasons beautifully.
