April is here and I am so ready to dig into spring cleaning mode. That means that I need to clear out the studio, check in on my past projects and create a plan on my April printable calendar.
Things around here always seem to be busy. But I am happy to report that I’ve been spending time filming more videos. You’ll be about to find them on my YouTube Channel here.
To be fair, the filming is never the problem for me, it’s the editing. Splicing all those clips together and make sure that the viewer can clearly understand things takes time and patience. Just this week my daughter needed help installing an invisible zipper on a garment. While she found many videos, none showed you how to install on a garment. Instead they were just using pieces of fabric. As a visual learner, she found this difficult and I totally agree. So it is with that type of feedback in mind that I approach my videos.
My latest video is all about attaching binding with your machine. Now, I understand that most folks love the look of hand stitching but sometimes a finished project is better than one sitting on the sidelines waiting for hand stitching. You can watch it here.
