Over the last year we have stitched blocks, made backings, quilted and now, it’s time to add the binding details. The binding is the final detail to finish this baby off.
Quilt Binding Details
Binding can be cut on straight grain or on bias but since my quilt is a rectangle, I chose straight grain to save fabric. By now, it’s pretty safe to say that I love to use every last piece and this project is no different. So, I gathered all of my leftover polka dot fabric scraps from Dear Stella and started cutting.
I could not be more thrilled with how they look stitched together.
Be sure to hop over to see more details about how I squared up my finished quilt and stitched this binding on by machine.
