Nothing says spring like birds chirping, flowers blooming and bunnies in the backyard! That’s why this week is all about the Bunny Hop block.

This simple block can be used for so many different things. I just love the idea of grouping a few of the smaller 6″ blocks together and stitching them in the color of peeps. (I’m feeling a project coming your way….)
Bunny Hop Block Details:
Each finished Bunny Hop block measures:
- 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm)
- 12″ x 12″ (33 x 33 cm)

Material & Tool Supply List:
- Assorted Scraps: Pink, Brown & Background Prints
- Cutting mat/ Rotary cutter/ Quilt ruler
- Heat erasing marking tool
- Spray starch
This block is a simple patchwork construction that requires half square triangles knowledge. Some of the cut pieces in the 6″ finished block are small and can be tricky to stitch in place. For that reason, I am saying this block is best suited for the confident beginner.

Remember, don’t be shy… After your block is stitched please share a few pictures of your work using the hashtags #Blocks2Quilt and #TheSewingLoft so we can all see.
