It’s that time of year where everyone is talking about roses. From the grocery store to the local florist, roses are everywhere. To keep on trend, I thought I’d add a floral quilt block to the mix. That’s why block #6 is called, Coming Up Roses.
Coming Up Roses Block Details
The finished Coming Up Roses quilt block measure:
- 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm)
- 12″ x 12″ (33 x 33 cm)
Material & Tool Supply List:
- Assorted Scraps: Red, Pink, Green & Background Prints
- Cutting mat/ Rotary cutter/ Quilt ruler
- Heat erasing marking tool
- Spray starch
This block is a simple patchwork construction that requires half square triangles and stitching on the bias. Some of the cut pieces in the 6″ block are small and can be tricky to stitch in place.
