Have you ever made or wanted to make a color-themed quilt? Think of a single colorway with a splash of white mixed in! Well, this week’s Connecting Corners Quilt is the perfect block to make it happen.
I have always loved the look of red & white quilts and after completing my very first one earlier this year, I’m kinda hooked! I love the idea of taking one color and transforming it with prints and values.
Since I a still experimenting with this type of quilting I wanted to keep my design simple. After a quick look around my fabric stash, I found a few cuts of Carolina Blues from Christopher, The Tattooed Quilter and they are perfect! All in blue, one of my favorite colors and of course, Frenchies!

I plan on slicing through my blue stash to complete this quilt and might even need to add some of Christopher’s new line Blue Stitch to the mix. But I am excited to report that I have enough of the little Frenchie print to complete all of my corners.
