Many readers of The Sewing Loft blog don’t realize that I am also a sewing instructor. That’s right, I teach sewing classes and it’s actually one of my favorite parts about being a sewing professional. Not only do I get to sew but having the pleasure of meeting others that share my passion for sewing is a total bonus in my book. What’s more exciting is that you don’t have to come to me. Nope, I’ll come visit you!
Available Sewing Classes & Workshops
Sewing classes can vary by designer, shop and guild. To help get your wheels turning, here is a short list of the sewing classes currently available.
- Free Motion Stitching- This hands on class focuses on the creative side of free motion stitching. Think beyond the quilt.
- Presser Feet Knowledge- Class is hands on to demonstrate the power of specialty accessory feet. Let me show you just how much these feet can improve your sewing.
- Pattern Make & Take- In this hands on workshop, students will create a project from one of my patterns. Workshop includes pattern, project and course materials.
- Experience your Destiny- Lets get up close and personal with your machine! I will demonstrate special features this amazing machine offers and provide creative ideas to use these in your everyday sewing.
