Wow, what a weekend! It’s hard to believe that it’s already over but the Sew Scrappy 2019 Retreat is officially on the books!
Just a few short days ago friends from near and far, as far as California, came to visit with me in Concord, NC. We stitched, we laughed, learned more about color theory with Lee, made memories and above all, stitched together a TON of scraps!!
Even though I’m still unpacking and catching up on much-needed sleep, I wanted to share a few photos of the fun we shared and the projects we worked on.
From boxy pouches to Dresden plates, we made it all! They say time flies when you’re having fun and Oh Boy did the weekend zoom by in a flash!
We exchanged pincushions with new friends, made handmade gifts and had tasty treats that were all sewing inspired.
On top of putting the pedal to the floor, we learned how to roll with it and won amazing gifts from our sponsors.
It goes without saying that events like this would not be possible without the support of my amazing sponsors. From encouragement to support they are an amazing part of our community.
If you would like to learn more about upcoming Sew Scrappy Retreats, please be sure to join my retreat insider skinny list here. Then stay tuned because, over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more project details, news about my sponsors and fingers crossed, dates for next year.
