Wasn’t that sewing quiz fun! It has really become clear to me that the simple act of sewing requires more than just a needle and thread. In fact, over the past few years I have dabbled and admired so many forms of sewing that I thought it would be fun to explore a few different areas during National Sewing Month.
For anyone just joining our little sewing circle, National Sewing Month is a time that I like to celebrate all things sewing. In the past, we have learned about the language of fashion, meet amazing designers and explored even the most basic sewing tools. This year, I would like to dig deeper and learn more about what drives us, makes us different and what brings us all together. After all, we all love to sew!
The game plan…. Explore everything! We’ll chat embroidery, fabric, pattern making, local shops, and more. Since we have a ton of ground to cover, I’ve asked a few friends to help out. Oh and I almost forgot to mention- the giveaway! Thanks to the support of some amazing sponsors this years prize packages will be a welcome addition to any sewing space big or small. I can hardly wait to share the details.
Be sure to stop by and visit or better yet, subscribe to have each post delivered straight to your in-box. This way, you can read all the clues and details about the giveaway. It’s a goodie!
Just check out our giveaways from years past here and here.

I enjoyed the sewing quiz yesterday. My husband took it and failed…poor guy. His answer to the sewing scissors cutting paper was “run for the hills” 🙂
