I’m sure this story is going to sound all too familiar but with the amount of sewing I do around here, the left-over scraps of fabric tend to really pile up! I don’t like to throw them away, so I save them for a rainy-day project. Whenever I get stuck in a rut, sometimes it helps to rev up my creative spirit by digging through that bin of scraps and coming up with something entirely new out of the leftovers of my previous projects.
Do you do that, too? Save all your precious scraps, not wanting to throw any away in case they might find a new life in a new project one day? If you’re a scrap-saving sewist, then I’ve got news for you: Pinterest is here to save you from drowning in a sea of fabric scraps!
I’ve put together a pin board of scrappy sewing projects. From a tiny and quick key chain to a giant bed-sized quilt, my pin-worthy finds run the gamut for projects of every size. Come on over to Pinterest and check it out!
What’s your favorite scrappy sewing project or technique? Leave a link in the comments so I can add to the Scrap Inspiration Pinterest board!
