The time has come for me to share the details on my Enduring quilt block. This is the final block in the Friendship Quilt Along and truth be told, I think the name is perfect in so many ways. It takes patience and endurance to go the distance and actually complete a quilt top.
I know that many took the summer to be with family and may just be seeing this post now. So, I want to share the good news… It’s not too late to join the fun! In fact, there is always time to catch up. The Friendship Quilt Pattern is one of those designs that you can pick up and stitch just as block at a time without feeling guilty.

Enduring Quilt Block:
You will need to make just one of the enduring quilt block to complete your quilt top. Actually, the stitching of this block will come after the quilt top is assembled and quilted. So for my reveal today, I am sharing the fabric and buttons I selected for my block.
The buttons are little flowers that I have had in my collection for years. I think they will make the perfect accent on my finished Friendship Quilt.
Look at that pile of goodness! I just love the way the blocks are coming together. The playful colors and prints have made this entire summer beyond fun!
Now that all my blocks are complete, it’s time start the final quilt top assembly. Really, this is the part that I’ve been itching to see it complete. One look at all those blocks and I’m sure you’ll understand. I can’t thank Amanda for sharing her Friendship quilt design with our creative community. Please be sure to share your progress and stay tuned because in the next few weeks I’ll be joining the blocks together to finish the final quilt assembly and will have something exciting to share with you.
