I’ve got a cheeky project that is sure to be a conversation starter at your next get together! The Hen Party Table Topper is a cutie. Not only does it have these cute chicks but the raw edge applique is just my style.
The Hen Party table topper is my latest video class with Annie’s Creative Studio and it’s darling!! These adorable appliqued chickens are marching around the table topper like they expect to join the conversation!
I’ll show you how to make this project from start to finish in this Learn, Make & Create class with Annie’s Creative Studio.
Hen House Table Topper
You will learn how to:
- Create raw edge applique.
- Make stand out features on your projects with thread.
- Bind unusually-shaped edges.
Here is a quick video to give you a quick glance at the class. I’ll be teaching you directly from my studio and you can watch any time you like.
Once you join me in class to create this sweet sewing set, you will need a few supplies.
- Hen Party Table Topper Pattern
- assorted fabric scraps
- quilt batting
- paper back fusible
- snaps or buttons
- basic sewing supplies
I think you’ll enjoy making the Hen Party Table Topper so much, that you might want to add a few tea towels to your kitchen collection.
After class be sure to see what other projects I’m teaching with Annie’s Creative Studio so that we can continue our sewing adventures together!
Remember, Annie’s Creative Studio offers a wide range of classes that range from quilting to crotchet. They even have blooper reels of all the instructors and my boys actually made it on last season.
