Last week I shared that school was officially back in session in my world and now more than ever, I feel like my family is a buzz of activity! From Cross Country meets to late-night homework sessions, it’s go-time. That’s why this week Blocks 2 Quilt design is the Honeybee Hive quilt block.
With the fall season quickly approaching, things here at the studio are a buzz of activity. I am stitching up a storm working on secret projects for publication and getting things ready for the Sew Scrappy Retreat in October.

Hello. I am making a baby quilt to donate to Abbigail Cowbrough Foundation. She was pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces and was killed in a hellicoptor accident. Her foundation is asking quilters to make quilts that will be donated in her name. She loved to quilt and loved bees. I would like to the centre of the quilt to feature your bee hive pattern. I am a novice quilter and making my own patterns is not quite there yet. I would ask your permission to use the pattern and I would gladly send you a copy of the finished quilt. Thank you in advance.
