Like many, my mother would shop early and make the most of her holiday budget.
To make sure I did not stumble on them, she would do her best to wrap them up right away. Little did she know that I loved looking for them. I hate to admit it but sometimes I would even peek!
Pretty Presents Quilt Block

The Pretty Presents quilt block design is simple patchwork and perfect for the confident beginner. Even for someone who is just learning how to sew!
One of the best ways to create the perfect HST (half square triangle) is with the Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer. This ruler is my go-to! You can see it in action in this video I made here.
While the pattern itself is very simple, it is important that you line the point of your ruler accurately when creating the bow details.
