Do you ever find yourself drooling over a friends fabric stash and wish you could grab just a few pieces?
Well today, I’m offering you just that. One of my ReSewlutions this year is to sew from my stash and I’m including you! I’ve teamed up with FreeSpirit and we have a challenge for you!
Sew My Stash Challenge
Should you choose to tackle this mission, you will receive a challenge kit to create your project. Your project can be anything from an appliqué design, mini quilt to a zipper pouch. Really, the sky’s the limit. Further instructions will be included in your kit. (Are you feeling my Max Smart vibe yet?)
Oh and did I mention a giveaway??? That’s right, what’s a fun challenge between friends without scoring some swag to go with your bragging rights! (More on that later.)
Each kit has carefully been packaged to ensure they are all the same. Here is a quick picture to give you an idea of what each kit will includes.
Did you “Spy” those Anna Maria Horner fabrics?? Now, if your feeling limited by two fat quarters don’t fret! You can partner these goodies with other items in your sewing stash. The goal here is to sew with something new, something from my stash!
Worried about inspiration? Don’t be. Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing fat quarter projects and even have a few special designers stopping by with fun projects. It is sure to be fun for everyone!

The Details:
- Challenge kits are limited. So grab them while you can! (Domestic and international shipping available.)
- Sew My Stash Challenge kits will be shipped February 14th. (Happy Valentine’s Day to you!)
- Guest designers will be joining the fun.
- Load you your finished projects in our flickr group for judging. All photos must be loaded by March 7th.
- Winners and honorable mentions will be announced March 9th.
