It’s rare that I get excited to wake up on a Monday but my friends, today is the day! I’m kicking off the Slightly Biased Quilt Along and today we are chatting all about Swirl-Round block 1.
For those that joined the fun last week, I’m sure the printable worksheets have kept you experimenting with different colors in your stash, leaving you ready to stitch. For me, I knew right away that I wanted to work with blues.
So, I pulled out my box of blue-turquoise fabric scraps and pulled a mixture of fabrics that made me feel happy.
After that it was just cutting per the pattern and stitching away. This block might look tricky with the smaller triangles but I’ve got you covered with this easy sewing and trimming method.
Remember you will need to stitch a few of the Swirl-Round quilt block to complete your Slightly Biased quilt top. Be sure to follow the pattern and watch my quilt video for easy tips because my goal is to help you achieve success at the machine!
Want to stay sew-cial? Be sure to share pictures of your fabrics and finished blocks using the tag #slightlybiasedquiltalong and @TheSewingLoft. This way we can all celebrate your success and cheer each other on along the way.
Just seeing this now and want to join the fun? Click here for the pattern and I’ll send it right away.
So go ahead, stitch up your Swirl-Round blocks and be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for the block release in the Slightly Biased Quilt Along.*
*For those who have joined the Slightly Biased Quilt Along, all block instructions are sent directly to your inbox every two weeks. Be sure to join the Scrappy Girls Club group to share your progress and celebrate your success!

I was looking at my notebook and it hit me that I never received any of the patterns for Slightly Biased. I did sign up so I must have paid for it. I have all the getting started pages but no blocks. Is there anyway to get them without having to pay again for them? This was a sew a long in 2020 but I didn’t get any emails.
