Virtual Quilt Along FAQ’s
PATTERN DETAILS: Heartland Heritage is a 12 block sampler that features various sized blocks. Each block is designed to stretch your skills and make the most of your scrap stash. The full size finished quilt measures 68″ x 74″ and is just the right size for snuggling under.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: Heartland Heritage is perfect for those looking for help clearing out the scrap bin, that said I know some of you will want to use your favorite fat quarter bundle too! You will need a variety of at least 23 fat quarters and 5 yards of background fabric for the background and borders.
SPECIAL TOOLS: I am happy to report that apart from the Heartland Heritage Sampler pattern, NO SPECIAL tools, or templates are required.
WHEN/WHERE: Starting on August 11th, a new block will be shared each week on Wednesday here on The Sewing Loft. The article will include helpful tips, color inspiration, and more.
WHO: All fabric scrap lovers and stitchers are welcome! I understood that everyone will quilt at their own pace and skill level and do not want you to worry! I am here to help keep you on track.
