Woo Hoo, I’ve been keeping a secret and today, it’s time to spill the beans! I’m excited to announce that I am taking part in the Love of Sewing Challenge with Baby Lock and my week is just about to kick off!
When Baby Lock issued the Love of Sewing Challenge and asked me to join the fun my mind starting swirling! What type of project would I make, how would I share it and more importantly, when could I start. I could hardly wait to get the new Destiny II sewing machine into my studio space and start stitching!
Can you blame me? The new Destiny II has so many fantastic features like built in exclusive embroidery designs, laser beam guide and the super cool IQ feature that allows you to design your own embroidery patterns. Baby Lock encouraged each designer to have creative freedom to showcase their personal style and left the challenge guidelines really open. My challenge was to feature the embroidery fonts within my design and I can hardly wait to show you.
During my week, I will be sharing my machine set up experience, show you how easy it is to use the built in font designs and reveal a very special project that you can make at home. Oh and let’s not forget there will be plenty of tips along the way!
