If your fabric stash looks anything like mine you have a full-size range of scraps. To help put each and every last scrap to good use, I’m designing simple blocks like the Blushing Glory quilt block.
The simple design of this block makes it perfect for beginners. To help keep everything all squared up, I suggest giving it a quick measure after adding new rows.
A few quick cross-checks with your quilting ruler will help ensure the success of your finished block.

Each block in this series has been such a blast to plan and seeing your photos an extra bonus along the way. So, please keep sharing your finished blocks. Between the fabrics that you pull and the personal touches that you add, each week you inspire me! So please, don’t be shy… After your block is stitched please share a few pictures of your work using the hashtags #Blocks2Quilt and #TheSewingLoft so we can all see.
Are you loving the series and still want more? Well, you are in luck because every Friday throughout the year I’ll be sharing a new block. So, be sure to sign up for my newsletter below and have the block articles delivered straight to your inbox.
