It’s time to chat border details and set our Sweet on You quilt top into it’s final setting.
I have chosen a 2 1/2″ finished width for my border details but this width can be adjusted to any size you wish. Remember the border details on any quilt acts like a frame for the center design.
To complete the Sweet On You quilt pattern can be These simple rows will join together each row of colorful quilt blocks made during the past few weeks and help complete our Sweet On You layout.
Border Details:
- Size: 2 1/2″ finished all around
Cutting Details:
From background fabric:
- 10 strips 3″ x WOF
With right sides together, join the strips in pairs using 1/4″ seam allowance. Press seam allowance to one side and repeat to complete all units.
Measure the quilt center top to bottom, cut two borders to match, and attach the vertical borders first. Measure the quilt side to side, including borders. Cut the remaining borders to fit and attach the horizontal borders to complete the quilt top.
Complete quilt your Sweet On You quilt top as desired. I can’t wait to see how they all turn out!
