Wow, I’m beyond thrilled that everyone is loving the Zinnia Flowers quilt block from last week because I’m pretty smitten with it too! To help keep the fun growing whoops, I mean going, I’ve designed a simple layout in EQ8 for a Flower Garden Table Runner.
The entire process was really simple. Using the custom set tool on the quilt worktable, I was able to create a sweet design that allows for different size blocks to be included.
Once I had the layout down, I added borders, adjusted block direction, and selected different fabric options. The program is really much more intuitive than I originally thought it would be.

I love all these patterns!! Thanks so much for putting them all together! This table runner is really cute. I’m worried about you, though – you’re usually so prompt about posting the new pattern every Monday – hope all is well!

Hello Kresti,
Thanks so much for checking in on me! I’m so excited to hear that you are enjoying the blocks. All is well in my world in fact, we are fresh back from vacation. I put a quick note in last week’s newsletter that I was taking the week off from releasing a new block and instead, just enjoying personal time with family. Please keep your eyes peeled because I’m back to my normal schedule of releasing new blocks on Friday.
