Things here have been super busy and I am extremely excited about an upcoming trip. Actually, I am leaving tomorrow- ACKKKKK I need to pack. I’m going to Spring Quilt Market in Portland!
This is super exciting news for me. I have been told that it is like a sea of eye candy for fabric lovers. And let’s face it, I love candy and one might say, have a small fabric addiction.
Doesn’t that look like fun?? Photos from left top corner clockwise- Thimble Blossoms, Pellon, Amy Butler, Andover. Photo sources: Pellon, Camilleroskelley, Scrap Therapy , Thimbleanna
Do you want even more news? Well, I was asked by Coats & Clark to create a Make & Take for their booth. A Make & Take is a small project that can be done in a flash showcasing a specific product. I will be working with the new line of Tim Holtz fabric Eclectic Elements and Phoomph. (Insert small squeal here!) So, here are a few quick photos of the proto types. I can not wait to see what all of the attendees create and will be sure to bring back tons of photos. I PROMISE!
So, if anyone is going to be walking the floor this week at spring market? If so, please be sure to stop by booth #2355 for a visit and a quick crafting project with me. It would sure brighten my day to meet you in person and get our craft on!
Wish me luck!

I will be eagerly waiting for the update. If you see any super awesome peacock or blue fabric, note who the designer is. SO excited for you! Are you going to post instagram pics?

Those are adorable! Have fun! I guess I really need to check out what Phoomph is.

Have a great time, Heather! Wish I was attending. For the non-quilters like me: it’s a misconception that a “quilting” event is only for quilters. It is eye candy and much else for everyone.
Will look forward to your pictures.

Yay! The cuffs look great and I know you are going to have a fab time. Can’t wait to hear all about it!

O boy, you are in for a treat! I have attended that event and it was terrific. It is the Godiva of eye candy for sure! Love your cuffs! Looking forward to all the photos and new ideas and products to play with.

I teach a sewing class, which lasts 3 hours, to six women at a time at the Detroit Rescue mission ministries home for women called Genesis II. I would love to instructions to this craft. Looks like a real winner! This is women who never sew and it has to be “fool proof”. Please please email me the instructions. Have been reading about Phoomph…..but totally clueless what to do with it!
