Did you hear the latest news? Scrappy Girls Club is hosting another SWAP and it’s zipper bags!
Since I use zipper bags for just about everything, I am over the moon with excitement. Actually, I might be too excited because I just signed up for 3 partners. (Holy cow, crazy right?!)
The thought of meeting 3 new sewing buddies from other areas is so much fun! Now, I can’t wait to find out who they are and what they like. I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that I get paired with at least one overseas partner. I just love seeing the different fabrics and techniques that everyone uses.
Zipper Bag SWAP Basics
The SWAP guidelines are pretty easy:
- Pattern: is maker’s choice. This is perfect for me because I have a new pattern in the works and I need a few excuses to finish it up.
- Size: should be small to medium size zipper bag. (think bigger than a coin purse.)
- Location: Everywhere!
- Sign Up/Ship Dates: Sign ups are happening now and your package needs to ship by April 9th.
But these are just the highlights. You can find all the details here:
I hope you join the fun and who knows, maybe we’ll even be partners!

Hello Vicky,
I am sorry to hear that you did not see your partners information in my mail box. I have resent the original email direct to you. Please note that it was sent on March 25th and I am sure your partner has already started working on your bag.
It would be a shame for her to make something special for you if you were to drop out. Please confirm that you will be creating something special for her and let me know if you need additional time to make that happen.
