If time were not important, I would make quilts all day long.
I would like to make a queen-sized double wedding ring quilt. The pattern is beautiful and I would use either calico prints or batiks. I haven’t decided yet, but I am leaning toward the traditional calico fabrics. There are just so many pieces to cut and then to piece. I hope one day when I have more experience making large quilts!

Of all the projects swimming in my head that I’d like to make someday, I have to choose one? I’m retired and should be able to spend more time sewing and finishing all those quilts. I think I’d just like to choose the time part of your question.
I just retired so time is no issue. I just pieced a baby quilt and after the holidays I will be quilting it! I would love to learn more about fitting clothes will sewing. That seems to be my biggest challenge!

I would fill my time making items for the children in the 3rd world, the children in hospitals and to my church. These items would include clothing, toys, hats, and quilts.
That’s a tough one! I’d have to flip a coin between a Baltimore album quilt—I just love Mimi Dietrich—and a Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt with millions of little hexies.
If time was no problem I would like to make a quiet book for both my granddaughters!!

If time were not an issue I love to create, draw and paint my clothing designs, then create the patterns, sew and embellish them with embroidery, quilting, paint, charms, etc.

I would love to sew clothes and quilts for my twin granddaughters – age 3 and teach them how to sew.
Since I’m retired, time really isn’t an issue. For me, it’s fear of “too difficult” or ruining nice fabric. So, I usually stick with easy patterns and inexpensive fabrics, but I’m getting braver!
I would like to make a fashion-style sweatsuit outfit: a lined hooded jacket with nice cuffs, banding at the waist, and decorative embroidery close to the front zipper; partially lined pants with low ankle zipper and elastic waist.
