Baby Hem –
noun
- a turned hem that is very narrow, usually ¼” in width.
In sewing, a baby hem can also be referenced as a rolled hem. This type of small, narrow hem might be used on any piece where you don’t want a noticeable hem, or where you want the finished piece to flow nicely around the hemline.
