It’s December and I’ve been thinking so much about the holidays this year. That means my mind is flooded with memories of family adventures, laughter with friends and stealing Grandma’s cookies. I like to think of them as snapshots tucked inside a snow globe and that is why I’m excited to share my latest design today. The Snow Globe Applique Bundle Pack.
These applique designs were inspired by our family trips up north to surprise family. Yes, we’re “that family”, the one that packs up the car/minivan in the middle of the night to make the trek hundreds of miles just to surprise loved ones. We’ve arrived on Christmas eve just as dinner was being served to deliver hugs in person, toast to the new year and celebrate the simple things life has to offer.

I had so much fun picking out fabrics for these appliques and stitching them together.
But my favorite design by far is the Woodie! I’m not sure if it’s the wood grain, thinking of the Griswold’s or what but I just love the way it turned out. I’m thinking I need to make a larger version in just thread on a tee shirt.
These designs are super fast, easy to sew and perfect for gift giving.

This is a really cool project to work on! I’d be really happy to see the design on top of a pillow case for kids or a quirky cushion case in the living room sofa.
